The nearest hotel to the airport with conference facilities is the Premier Travel Inn, which is located only a short distance from the airport and close to the M8 motorway. Glasgow: City Hotels and Accommodation
Hotels in the city centre are just 13 km / 8 miles east of Glasgow Airport (GLA) and spread around several central districts and neighbourhoods. Much of the accommodation in this part of Glasgow is well-connected to the city's attractions and sights, as well as being within walking distance of many superb restaurants, local department stores and shopping centres.
Further hotels, including a number housed in historic buildings, are located in and around the Charing Cross area, on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre and often close to a range of entertainment venues and theatres. Some of the city's best value hotels and cheap guest houses lie alongside the sprawling Glasgow University campus, close to the Kelvinhall International Sports Arena and a range of popular nightspots.
Other noteworthy districts in Glasgow, which contain more than their fair selection of hotels, include the trendy Merchant City neighbourhood, the historic medieval area, and the southern side of the city - where family run B&Bs are particularly plentiful.
