As Scotland's biggest city and home to a population of around one million people, Glasgow is always busy and its thriving tourism scene is matched by a good choice of hotels. Glasgow: City Hotels and Accommodation
Hotels in the city centre are just 13 km / 8 miles east of Glasgow Airport (GLA) and spread around several central districts and neighbourhoods. Much of the accommodation in this part of Glasgow is well-connected to the city's attractions and sights, as well as being within walking distance of many superb restaurants, local department stores and shopping centres.
Further hotels, including a number housed in historic buildings, are located in and around the Charing Cross area, on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre and often close to a range of entertainment venues and theatres.
